A cookbook for the man who wants to learn his way around the kitchen so that he can impress that special woman in his life.
I have written this cookbook because I believe there are a lot of men who would like to be able to cook for their wife, or girlfriend, mother, mother-in-law, sisters, daughters, friends and/or family, etc., but think cooking is too difficult. It really isn't. This book will show you how to walk into the kitchen with confidence and be able to create something that looks good and tastes great. Something that might possibly even create a little romance.
Cooking, and cooking well, is not as difficult as most men think. In fact, it's really fairly simple. If you have the right recipes, the right ingredients, readable and understandable directions, get organized and pay attention, you can't go wrong. It is critical that you pay attention. Chances are that when you are cooking, very possibly someone will be there, or that you are going to have to sample the wine you are going to serve, or some other type of distraction will enter the equation. So get organized first and then you can, (and in fact, should), enjoy the process of creating a delicious meal.

Just saw this quote from Ben Franklin,
Wine makes daily living easier, less hurried, with fewer tensions and more tolerance."
A very wise man, Ben.

August 3-6, 2018. I was fortunate enough to get my son and my three daughters, their four terrific spouses, and all eight of my grandchildren together in Grand Lake, Colorado. It was a weekend never to be forgotten.
Many of you have asked to see the other side of the "cover girl". Here she is in a recent photo, modeling one of the terrific aprons available here in the website. She is my middle daughter, Caton O'Brien. Her husband Matt is the man in the background on the cover. I am blessed to have two other, equally attractive, smart and stylish daughters. I am a very lucky dad.
If you have reached this website by using a link from Facebook, for some reason they often send you to the website that was set up before the products were added. I don't know why, probably their incompetence... I have tried to get them to correct it but there is no one there to contact to fix the problem. So it's possible that you may be seeing "New Products Coming Soon" instead of "Cookbook or Apron" immediately below. We have been selling cookbooks and aprons on this website for over a year, but Facebook doesn't always send you to the right place. The link also sends you to the website, but doesn't always allow you to see the blog at the bottom of the page. So, if you arrived on a link from Facebook, and are not seeing the full website, simply exit this page, open a new browser and type womenlovemenwhocook in the address line. That will take you to the up-to-date version of the website where you can order, read the blog, etc.

Every month, I will publish a recipe from the cook book. I started in March 2018 with one of my favorite recipes, Fettuccini Carbonara, real comfort food.
Plus, from time to time, I am going to add a few pertinent,
food or drink related thoughts.
